The Asido Campus Network (ACN), University of Ibadan (UI) Chapter is a student-led mental health advocacy network and the youth arm of the national Asido Foundation. As the pioneer mental health club within UI, ACN has taken a leading role in promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging help-seeking behaviour among students. With a thriving community of 1,000+ members and 200+ ambassadors, ACNUI’s reach extends across multiple faculties and departments, demonstrating that mental health is a universal concern that cuts across every discipline. Its ambassadors are trusted voices in the University of Ibadan, engaging in faculty and hall events, panel discussions, and outreach programs, while sparking open conversations around mental health literacy.
