Voices of Change
Being an ambassador and member of the Directorate of Media and Publicity for Asido Campus Network University of Ibadan was a turning point for me. Upon becoming the Deputy Director of Media and Publicity, I gained hands-on experience managing the network's social media platforms, including Instagram and Twitter, among others.
Through Asido, I’ve grown as both a mental health advocate and a systems thinker. I’ve learned how to mobilize teams, work with diverse stakeholders, and apply evidence-based strategies to address the mental health gap among youth in Nigeria. Beyond technical skills, the network helped me find my voice and purpose
The greatest gift the Asido Foundation gave me was that of an ideal. One man can be destroyed, buildings can be leveled, and whole armies can be wiped out. But an ideal? An ideal can endure. It can defy the ravaging of time and circumstance.
