Applications Open: Join the 2nd Edition of the Asido Mental Health Fellowship

Every conversation can change a life. Every informed voice can challenge stigma. Every young person can become a force for better mental health.

The Asido Foundation is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2nd Edition of the Asido Mental Health Fellowship (AMHF). This is a transformative 12-week virtual fellowship designed to equip young adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to champion mental health in their communities.

Following a successful inaugural edition, the fellowship returns with an expanded curriculum that combines mental health education, advocacy, leadership development, and practical community action.

In Nigeria, millions of people live with mental health conditions, yet only a small percentage have access to the care they need. Young people have an important role to play in changing this reality. Through the Asido Mental Health Fellowship, participants will learn how to advocate responsibly, promote mental well-being, and lead initiatives that create lasting impact.

The fellowship will cover:

  • Mental Health Foundations and Digital Advocacy

  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Leadership in Mental Health
  • Communication for Mental Health Advocacy
